Buddha was born around the 6th century BCE in India. He attained enlightenment and taught for more than forty-five years before passing away at 80. Currently, Buddhism is the fourth-largest religion in the world since it has more than 600 million followers around the globe. People in the United States have been knowing the Buddha and his teachings since the 19th century. Presently, Buddhism is getting popular through social media. Especially, its meditation practice has been implemented daily by 18 million American people regardless of their beliefs according to National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) in 2012.
To know more about this historical Buddha, to pray for all of us to overcome the Covid 19 pan- demic and end the wars around the world, and to deal with other daily challenges successfully, we would like to invite you and your family joining in our special Buddha's birthday celebration at the aforementioned date and time.
